Now I get it - the “hour rule” is how long it takes Kinja to decide to upload your post you started an hour ago . I must have had at least a dozen tries at “save” and “save & Edit” an d “publish” dammit before I remembered the Stef trick - exit the page, go back to the page, recover your draft and magic - posting happens!

It’s probably my fault for choice of browser and add-ons, but I always get spinn ing wheel of death, followed by “this is taking longer than it should” message followed by a return to edit screen option. I should clarify, it only happens with picture posts... which is 99% of what I post :( If everyone had this much trouble posting, Oppo would be a ghost town by now

While on the edit page, t ry clicking the clock that shows when your post was last saved/published and hit “clear” or “reset. ” That should cause your post to leap to the current date and time. Just make sure to publish immediately.

The internet sucks now.
I can’t embed twitter/instagram/youtube/hyperlinks here half the time. The other half of the time I can’t drag/drop images, I need to use the embedding tool. On half my machines I can’t copy and paste into twitter or it errors out.
I thought we had this all figured out. WTF?

To be safe, copy everything from the post before you exit. I've had kinjas recovery not work on post I'd spent hours creating
